Can this type of site be run with adsense? Or does it fall into the gambling category? Was just wanting to get clarification.
I think it would violate TOS. By all means write and ask Google before putting Adsense on such a site. We never get all the story but I have read on this forum someone state he had Adsense on similar site, and sometime later come back saying he had been banned. Now why was he banned? I do not know. I guess it's a real fine line. I believe google's answer would echo yours, so I won't even bother. It's too much of a chance to lose a good thing. Thank ya'll!
the part that is interesting is that google will display perfectly matching ads on these "grey" topics (and I mean perfectly matching) ... when I wanted to include an AdWords Ad for a gambling topic they wouldn't let me have direct links to gambling sites on the landing page The problem with asking google if it is ok, is you are getting 1 schmucks opinion at a point in time, if schmuck 2 later decides its not ok or schmuck 1 changes his mind, they don't really have anyone for you to talk to ... too risky in my opinion jay
