how to play .mp4 files in power dvd ?

How to play .mp4 files in Power DVD . When I try to play .mp4 files in power dvd it says , format not supprted/recognized.

maybe you need to burn mp4 to dvd first, then you can play it with powerdvd, if you want to burn video to dvd, You may take a look at this step by step guide, it will teach you how to convert and burn video to DVD. try to change the extension to dvd, use the software mp4 to dvd
