can anybody help me to place adds on my blog i have an adsense account but dont know how to place adds .
ok Step one: - Go to the second tab in your adsense account called "Adsense setup" - select the ad product you want (in this case Adsense for Content) - There is a little link "single page" click it to make your life easier - Now you have a form for select the type and style of the ad you wish to run - fill out that form (ad size, shape, color, etc.) - add a "channel" so you can tell which ad unit is actually getting the clicks - click the button at the bottom called "submit and get code" Step two: - copy and paste that code into your page in the desired position. Tips: 1) you can change the ad's style without changing the code on the page by selecting "Manage Ads" 2) make your ads blend with the page but stick out so people will actually click them 3) never click your own ads (google stores the IP you log in with) 4) follow all TOS or your account will get band and you won't even get an email telling you why. good luck.
If you're using wordpress you can use the 'text' widget. Just place the adsense code into that and it'll show up on your sidebar.
