How to pimp your site on youtube

Good idea, now just to get accepted into the affiliate program ...

 

I've been considering of advertising my other site in Youtube for quite sometime but I'm still working on the samples. I've seen a couple of photo slideshow samples in Youtube and they seems have a lot of viewers.

Do you think it's risky to put a ringtone affiliate link in your youtube description?
Is it allowed? I'd like to put one, because it might be very profitable. But I don't want YouTube to pull my video.
