Hi guys I'm using fake keywords but actual numbers. Would you choose "How to perform good magic" or "How to perform good magic tricks" to optimize? Thanks for any input. How to perform good magic tricks: 500,000 searches a month, strong competition How to perform good magic: 900,000 searches a month, medium competition. Top 10 results on G are about the same. Which phrase would you choose to optimize and why? I would think that it's fairly safe to go after the shorter phrase but just want to make sure I'm doing it right. Any feedback welcome thanks!
there is no magic in SEO but all work... you just need to follow google's webmaster guidelines or TOS.
I would choose the one with less competition. In this case, you're lucky because the keyword with less competition is also the one with more searches-- should be a no brainer just optimize for "how to perform good magic" cause people who search for that is exactly the same as "how to perform good magic tricks". in broad search, the "tricks" will be omitted in a search for "how to perform good magic" anyway.
Exactly what I thought too. Thanks for the thumbs up! By the way, Excel 8, I would appreciate criticism much more than spammy posts like this that does not answer any question AT ALL.
