Hi! I am going to make my first foray into the murky world of online transactions, but I don't have a Credit Card! Here is the situation: -I don't have a CC, but I have an ICICI debit card, but online transactions are not allowed. -I want to make a purchase from a website (which is very trustworthy), but unfortunately, they do NOT accept payment via a credit card. So, I have to use Paypal. -I have a paypal acc, but I can't verify it because I don't have a CC. Obviously, I cannot use my friend's CC to do so. What should I do in such a situation? I am thinking that I could do one of the following: 1. My friend will make his own paypal account, verify it, then I can give him my id/pswd (of the site where I need to purchase). He can use his paypal acc to pay and the game will be added to my account and I can download it later. 2. If it be possible, he can transfer money from his paypal account to my account. Then I can pay using my own paypal acc. Which of the above two methods is possible/better? If you know of any other alternative, please let me know of it. Also, can my friend's CC be used for online purchase in USD? I am quite sure that it can be, but still it would be best to be certain.
Thanks for your reply, but I just got the news that the friend is getting an HDFC credit card, so he will be able to generate a NetSafe card - I will buy the game off Steam. Problem solved!
@bippukt Thanks God, your problem has been resolved, but if you do not have PayPal account verification, you must still make a verified, if you do not have a credit card, can be arranged with the vcc to buy on the internet (can be seen in google), or you can use the Payoneer debit card (can be obtained free of charge).
