If you want to add Adsense Ad units or any other ad scripts inside the Blogger Post or anywhere in the Blog, You can't directly Paste it in the template code. You need to first convert the code using this HTML Entities Encoder tool and then you can put ads anywhere you want ;)

First, get your Adsense code and go to Kranthi’s Site, use the ad code converter to get your new code.

Login to Blogger
Select ‘Layout’
Click ‘Edit HTML’
Check ‘Expand widgets’
Use CTRL+F to find: post.body
Now paste your generated or new code either above post.body (in which case your ads appear above the post) or below post.body (in which case your ads appear below the post)
Save and preview

Why convert it? I never had to do that. All I do is go to blogger and click on the blog I want to work with and then click monetize, you select the layout you like, click next and you're done.

To make your adsense code work if you paste it in blogspot blog, you only need to change the <, > and the " to it's standard code.

Ex:

< = <
> = >
" = "

If you done it properly, your ads will show on your blog.

you'll need to convert the adsense code to make it rhyme and blend into or within your blogpost code, that's quite different when you paste an ad either by the sides of your site
