Don't make a Flash site. It's that simple. If you are going to have a Flash site, make sure you have an HTML version available and that it's easy to get to.

If you really want a flash site, don't make everything flash, but just elements. For example:

The header is flash but the body with text is html. And if the navigationbar is also in flash, then put all the links you have in flash under in the footer in normal html.

And of course have enough links to your site, that's around half the seo work.

If you really want to make the whole page in flash, then realize that you won't have a good optimized website.
But then you may put under the flash site a desciption in html what the page is about with some links to other pages. Oh and put every flash page on another page so you can put a description on every flash page (topic).

But of course it is better to do not have a flash only site.

A usability tip is to do not have a splash page where the visitor can choose the flash or html version. It is far from user friendly. Remember that SEO or a cool looking flash sites is not everything. Usability is more important then the look of a page. And of course normal html sites are also more user friendly in most of the cases.

(ojah, I am new here, hello everybody!!)

you could however have a dynamic flash site, so flash will take the "content" out of a .html file. And you can always create a xml sitemap
