How to optimize visitors?

    How do i optimize my website visitors?
    I mean i have tried traffic exchange and i also tried mouth to mouth.
    Is there a way i can get more traffic to my website through example google?

Once you have a quality site you can start SEO and basically you need to just keep on building backlinks from blog comments, forum signatures, link exchange, directory submission etc.
