I agree, Yahoo weights more on onpage optimization rather than off-page (link building)

Thanks for the link. I'm ranking well in Google but nowhere in Yahoo! If I can improve my Yahoo ranking, I should see a decent improvement in traffic. :)

Tbh i dont bother optimising for yahoo!

When i first started out i optimised for msn and i found it was quite easy! after a few weeks i slipt out of the top 10 dont no why!?

And gave up with msn cus it was unpredictable!

I started my one way linking campaign creating one way links with the anchor "money making ideas" and have managed 11th with google.co.uk

I actually do the opposite. I optimise for Yahoo and Google follows along quite nicely.

I did everything a few months ago and still my site is nowhere to be seen in yahoo top 10, same with Live. Funny thing is that my site is ranked 7 in google...

    Yahoo hates me :(

Yahoo stresses good solid content factors for ranking positions. Where as Google likes popularity votes from other websites. They may also take click thru rates, and bounce rates of your website into consideration (you have to use their analytics packages).
