How to Optimize Earnings (clicks per impressions)

I started using adsense for about 3 weeks now. On my first site i had 23.731 page impressions in the last 7 days with a total of 69 clicks resulting a revenue of $ 5,79 . Now on my other site i had 208 page impressions in the last 7 days with a total of 16 clicks resulting a revenue of $ 0,35.
    Now why is that ?
How is the income calculated ?
How do i earn more ? More or less page views ? (23.731 impressions with 69 clicks or 208 with 16 clicks ?)

You are not allowed to give CTR. Since you are using real stats, it is possible to tell CTR. Income depends on the value of ads clicked i.e. how much the advertiser was willing to pay for a click through to their site.

ofcourse, more impressions and more clicks will earn more..
its mainly depends on CTR and eCPM.

Because it violates Google's Terms of Service. I suggest reading them before you lose your account.

you can not effect your ctr directly. you must filter mfa sites and you must make better placement

It's probably best if you read about Adsense to see how it works. I'm rather suprised that some people join affiliate programs and they don't even know anything much about it or how it works before hand.
