It is really not easy question.
I had an experience with helping to manage a job board couple of years ago. The main struggle we had was getting high number of jobs, that's why we used lot of feeds from top job boards like simplyhired, careerbuilder etc.
For you I think the main issue is that - what are the pages where you want to rank? I mean you have a homepage, posting page, and pages of jobads, that you need more of a unique content, like category descriptions or articles or blog etc.
Also I like the idea of your job board- work in developing countries etc., but you should somehow put more stress on that. When I open the page, I am not sure what I will find there, and then by seeing that you have lot of UN job ads, I understand. For instance, you perhaps should have a special section for people searching for volunteer jobs in developing countries etc.
One more point - you should make URLs nicer, not /?page_id=231&job_board= redirecting to /jobs but the nice url of /jobs already in navigation.
The section "job ads" where there is info about promoting the ads is a bit confusing.
In general - you have keywords you want to rank for - do you have a clear idea which pages you intend to rank for them - and then see do you actually have those keywords there in the title and in content.
I hoped some of the points here helped.

    hi

thanks for the post. i dont know where you found this crappy url. all jobs and pages have much nicer urls.

we have a lot of jobs already. most in this niche

what exactly is confusing about the job ad section?

the board was growing constantly until July. Since then we are kinda stuck at around 700 uv daily.

    thanks

Hi, those crappy URLs are in the top navigation lane.
I just meant that when I wanted to browse job ads, the first place I clicked was "job ads" in your top navigation lane, and I got that page of how to promote your posted jobs.
But it is a small thing.
As the site seems nice, then maybe you can get more jobs from some job aggregators and they should pay you to clicks to their jobs. But I have not been in this business for a long time.
