How to optimize a Flash file

    I have a website that has a flash banner on header section, that is being run through javascript. What is the possible way to optimize that flash file.

    If you are using flash in banner and header section only I don't think it require any special technique to optimize the flash content, just try to minimize the loading time and make the flash SEO friendly. You can use Flash element containing keyword-rich messages that can be replaced in text form for search engine spiders.

    As bobchrist said, I dont think you need a special technique just try not to overuse flash within the site and you will be fine. and use google webmaster tools to verify if you have any error within the site.

    Currently there is no valid benchmark proof from anyone including Google that show a method to SEO Flash or JavaScript. Both are considered "Client Side" services that the SEs can't get to.

    SEO the page just like the Flash was an image and go from there. You can make the page very competitive as long as you do not rely Flash Navigation.
