A major keyword we use is ranked #1 G.co.uk #1 Yahoo.co.uk #1 msn.co.uk It is even ranked #1 for G.com!! But Yahoo.com and msn.com it is way down. Also have number of other keywords that could be performing better in .com which are flying in .co.uk Any tips?
arcos, I am ready to pay you more than USD 5.000 monthly if you give me a proof you´re doing that at least 18 months (not continuously the same number but diligently improving over time) and do the same with some 3 of my sites. I would say, if you rank the above way, you should forget about ranking 12.33% more. You will never make your SEO perfect. PM me with your resluts I am serious, if you can bring me more than 30.000 new uniques daily (to all 3 sites together, not just one).
Well, SCINET has 58 results in google and 55 out of them in supplementals. Equitour, even though trying to catch the attention for the equatour misspelling, has 3:300 ratio of In and out of supplemental index. Nothing to trust to, Arcos, to moderate your anger, I am maybe 2% better than your listed sites. I don´t need your help nor I will help you. vlo
Umm well thanks for your 'advice'? I am not sure that I was offering any help here, simply asking for a little advice. Seems that you dont have any advice!
Arcos, to answer your question - I think a fair assumption is that the keywords you have chosen are much more competitive in the US... Have you fully optimised your on page content for those keywords?
hi arcos i thing keyword on which u r getting hits on .co.uk domain that is less competative with compare to .com domain that is why u r not getting ranking on .com domain.so one advice for u that just study the competetor's website and try to learn some SEO things.how that person had optimize his site and do some experiment with your site. thanks
Thanks Hawk and seojig for your thoughts but.... Nah, dont go for that one. More competitive in the US? Not when there are only 250,000 results and similar keywords which compete against 1m+ results on .com are ranking very well. And isnt G.com US market?
are your inbound links coming from .co.uk sites? I am not an SEO person but my blog has a similar problem; though my g.co.uk ranking isn't as perfect as yours
Not especially. I have a good mix of UK, US and ROW backlinks about 900 in total. Not too bothered as unless its G(od) then doesnt make too much difference, just curious thats all!
