How to Optimise an Amazon aStore?

I have an aStore I'm trying to push up the SERPs for a particular item which is very popular - in fact there is another aStore directly targeting the same item. Obviously the first challenge is to out perform all other aStores (site:astore.amazon.com keyword), which I'm making some grounds on.

I have a single paragraph of unique text on the page, but I cannot change anything else on it. I have picked an appropriate keyword-rich URL.

Any suggestions? Is link-building the only technique available able? Is it even possible to do better than Amazon's own pages?

    Thanks,

    Cryo.

wld be extremely difficult to challenge Amazon, but nothing is impossible for those who are willing to try. You will need to build MORE content-rich pages than them, which will prob take you a few years :p

sorry, but to be brutally honest, a single paragraph of unique text is not even worth mentioning. You will need to create pages and pages of content focusing on your subject and industry in order to compete.

You can try to get blog posts on high traffic blogs as well as get your links in social bookmarking sites, which create alot of traffic. Backlink building is also something u shld do concurrently of course....

Looks like I'm managing to out-perform all other aStores selling the same product - I just need to creep up the generic SERPs now...

Any more suggestions, while I go write some more text?
