How to open thumbnails inside the main WP theme?

Hi there,

I was wondering how to open thumbnails within the main theme. Like if i click any thumbnail in my posts.. the picture opens in a new window... but the new window does not have my site banner or theme... it just opens the picture!

Like for example:

Take this post:

If you click on the image in the post.. it opens here:

http://www.ballz.info/wp-content/uploads/2007/01/Kelly and Sharon Osbourne1.jpg

And my main theme is not available on that picture link. How to fix it? How do I make the pictures open under my theme! Or if there is a way to just add my banner above the picture?

 

I am not sure how to do this as well. I know there is ways to do it with JS and Ajax I think.. but I forgot what it is called, it will simply overlay the picture on the blog until you close it..

i have also been searcing for a tool or plugin to do so! now bookmarking this thread! maybe some one has something to tell about!

 

instead of 'linked to image' change it to 'linked to page'

 

but how do I change all the images automatically, I have over a 1000 images in various post, I cant manually change them!
