how to open page of forum in ftp?

    i have some confusion with ftp. I want to know if we will open v bulletin forum on ftp. How to edit the threads from ftp?

    all the data in a forum is kept in the database.
    normally editing posts is done through the forum.

    use ftp to transfer and or update forum files.

    If I not mistaken, FTP (File Transfer Protocol)
    It is for you to transfer your file.

    If you want to edit the thread, better go to the forum itself.
