How to NOT get sick on plane?

Not sure if this has already been posted before, but I'm going on an 8 hour flight this sunday, and while I am excited, I'm still a bit scared of getting sick on the plane, lol. I haven't been on a plane in ages, so I can't really remember what it's like, all I know is take off and landing are the worst lol.

    I have a few questions:

    1) What things can I do before/during the flight to help prevent nausea?
    2) Can anyone recommend any good anti-nausea tablets/medicines? Right now I have Dramamine. Has anyone used that before, and experiences?
    3) What foods should I avoid before/during flight?
    4) What foods are good to eat before/during flight?

Uhh yeah that's about it, I guess. If anyone could answer any or all of those questions, I'd be very thankful! :D

    Thanks :)

    I've flown alot.

Bring gum to chew, it helps alot of peoples ears to pop more easily.
Bring hand cream, the air in a plane is very, very dry and your skin dries out very quickly, IMO.

Eat something light like a salad, if you think you will get sick.
Don't eat any fish or anything heavy.

I hear Dramamine works well, I don't get sick though so I've never tried the stuff.

Pepto bismol pills work well for some people.

    Hope this helps somewhat.

    Happy Flying:)

Haha.. You seems to be very scared..
Take it easy dear... Nothing going to happen..

Believe me I am taking nothing with me whenever I am flying as they are surviving chocolates and breakfasts..

I am not preferring you to take tablets but you can take gum to chew ;)

    Happy Flying !!
