Usually when you work from home, you got a kid that similar with the Computer that you already use, so without you know, could be the kid will click your ads that save on your bookmark page, to avoid this you can use this methode to NOT display ads on your personal computer.

another way is using host on your operation system, on this case windows:
find first host based on your Grade OS

    Windows XP: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
    Windows 2000: C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc
    Windows 98 or ME: C:\WINDOWS\

open it with right click[ you can use notepad or something like that]

    you will see:

    127.0.0.1 localhost

you can add below default entry the following item[ in this time we gonna block google adsense, google analytics, urchin and chitika]:

    127.0.0.1 adwords.google.com #[Gmail ads]
    127.0.0.1 pagead.googlesyndication.com

just install firefox and noscript or adblockplus. Does it for you the simple way.

Problem is...mozilla will end many revenue streams for publishers...

Or you can disable Java and Javascript. I use another browser with Javascript disabled if i want to visit my own website.
