Devprakash, It looks like you're planning to move your site ... So what do you do ??? 1. First backup all your files in your FTP 2. Login to your SQL database and backup your database. 3. Buy a new Host 5. Create a database 6. Edit your configuration file to point to the new sql server. 7. Restore the backup in the new sql server. 8. Upload all the files .... There you have your site up and running on a new server Abhishek
I would recommend you that if your new webhost is on dedicated server just give them your cPanel info they will do it via whm(Web Host Manager) Heres a sample screenshot of whm from where your host can transfer account Saad
Hi there, is this gonna work for transfering a flash game site from old hosting to new one too? Thanks i really need some specific advice....
Does your Flash Game site use an SQL database ?? If yes look for a file in your root folder named 'config.php' If it is not in the root it will be in a folder named 'includes' or 'inc'. This file contains details about your SQL server. Such as the database server, database name, database password. If all this is a Yes ? ... then yep u can move it ....
