    Hi everyone,

I am desperately trying to get our shower enclosures page into the top 10 on Google UK.

Our page http://www.bellabathrooms.co.uk/shower_enclosures.html fluctuates around 20th for the search term “shower enclosures”

Please use the following link to see our result http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=shower+enclosures&btnG=Google+Search&meta=

How can I get this page into the top 10 by white hat methods??

Any help/advice would be appreciated, would even pay for a result!

    Thanks

You need quality backlinks. Have you tried to get bloggers to mention you linking back to your site with that link anchor?

this takes a time to take effect though but very effective. just keep on link building your site, what ForgottenCreature said is a great idea, make a blog about for your website. Also don't forget to regularly update it. that's what you got to do while waiting to be on top 10...

One of the biggest factors that can help you to move up in the rankings is to look at what your competitors are doing :)

Things to look at include, but not limited to are; on page seo, backlinks, link structure.

    Good luck :)

    Forgotten Creature,

Thanks for the advice, not too sure where to find good quality links relating to our "shower enclosures” page without getting links from people who we are in competition with.

How would we go about getting bloggers to mention our site?

    Thanks

Hmm... I'm not exactly sure how you could get blogs to mention your site, but have you looked into paid reviews?

There must be tons of blogs on home improvement, DIY, plumbing, etc. Start writting comments on those blogs. Keep your comments on topic and provide good quality info. You can add your URL in your blog comments. You can also ask the blog owner to link to you, write a review or mention your site.

On a side note--I really think home improvement topics like this are perfect for short how-to videos. Take a video of your product or the installation, run thru key features, design, etc. Put your URL at the beginning and end of the video. Post to youtube and other sites. Provdie that link to bloggers for them to embed.

As said above, starting a blog is a great way to generate fresh content for your site, which google loves. Try adding a post every week or so and syndicating your blog through sites like feedburner.com
