hi.. i own a domain at bluehost called thinkjayant.com

i installed my personal blog recently on it and install it on my /blog directory. Thus my blog's actual address is thinkjayant.com/blog and then i permanenetly redirected all links thinkjayant.com to thinkjayant.com/blog using my control panel

now since its a new blog and i have not yet publicize or used extensively in my sigs... i want to move it to my parent folder that is root folder and not to /blog folder.

i am new to this and want to do this. how do i do it. i have posts, draft posts and theme and modifications done to it. i want to leave it untouched. by the way i am using wordpress 2.5.1

help would be appreciated. :):) should i install another wordpress installation and copy all folders..????

    regards

Just copy all the contents from /blog (do NOT remove the contents from /blog) folder and then login to your blog from thinkjayant.com/blog/wp-login.php and then go to 'settings' and change your blog URL. Hope this will help you.

If I were you I'd download a backup, just in case ;) Set a 301 redirect to your new location using .htaccess to avoid traffic loss.
