Hey dp member... I want to know what the best way is to see how much traffic you are actually getting to a website? I've tested and installed Google analytics, Get Clicky and also checked with the Cpanel Awstats for 1 particular site of mine that ranks #1 in a niche and I get different traffic data. So whom do I trust or what resource would be best to follow for really tracking your traffic? thanks, Dellingter
You also may try alexa. This site is pretty good for getting the actual stat and analysis of site traffic.
Try statcounter. It is free and best tool for getting exact and good report. I am sure you will like it.
Google analytics is the best way to monitor website traffic, here is one more statcounter.com, where you can monitor your website traffic.
Just signup at www.google.com/analytics and you will get an analytics code from it after that you will have to add it's code in your web site after closing Head tags
I use google. I sometimes noticed inconsistencies between the stats given by the different counters, but google allows you to make stats public as well as allowing you to easily keep stats if you change hosting for any reason.
I am a new player in the world of the Internet, I want to ask whether the only internet experts by posting the posts, our blog can be read by others?, of course, we already submit your blog to google and yahoo
