there are many many ways to monetize traffic, you can try some Japanese language forex affiliate, or have a facebook fanpage, grow it, and sell it. it can go for as much as 2000$ in other words , try for Japanese language affiliate networks etc etc, or you can even sell your own ebooks etc on cooking, etc etc, sky is the limit.
U could use cpm ads ortry some video relates affiliate from click bank ... Ur traffic is huge .....u should use it wisely ....affiliate is the best option ...
If contents are in english than i would suggest. Chitika or infolinks, as these approve sites very fast. And try to have some kind of affiliates, join affiliat program of amazon or some local japani company.
