I've got quite a few good videos on some of my sites. I generally choose to host them on Vimeo or Youtube, just to keep bandwith at a minimum I want to know how to monetize these videos, preferably while still playing the vids through Vimeo or Youtube, because they attract a bit of traffic, and to me, traffic = potential revenue. I am based in Australia if that influences anything!
put some ads in the video so that your potential customer will see it? I think it is easier to put them on your own site so you can have some adsense project on the page. Not familiar with youtube monetizing stuff
Make snippets of the video (20 seconds) and submit them to video sites and have a link back to your site for more traffic and exposure. You can also put ads on them for additional income as the top poster said.
It also helps to make your video fully accessible (e.g., through the use of a closed captioning company or something of the like). You definitely want all the traffic you can get, right? Best of luck to you!
That is all good guys but do you have something about monetize the video ? and any other place for uploading videos that are with good rating (YouTube, Vimeo)
You can try out for tubemogul dot com. it will popularise your video to a number of sites at once. so that you dont have to individually go to each and every sites and upload your video. try it once. you would surely point out atleast a bit of difference in traffic
