    Hello,

I have a good domain and it can work well for social bookmarking site. But I really don't know How to monetize social bookmarking site?

I can only think of (1) adsense, (2) links/traffic sell and (3) put some affiliate links.

But, I think all above income will not justify the kind of social bookmark sites are.

Can some buddy suggest few more ways to monetize these sites?

Also, I appreciate if someone can suggest me free script.

    Thanks in advance.

Custom ebooks per category? We can write ebook libraries for you if you wish. These can be very lucrative if sold through an info and content rich system.

Social bookmarking sites are not making much from adsense.

    The best options are :

    1) Cpm ads (if you meet the creteria)
    2) Affiliate links integrated in the user posted content.

    THank you for nice tip.
    OKay.

I think, I should think of other kind of site. It is all giving me impression that social bookmarking sites are not good money making sites.

    Am I wrong?

If you force people to sign up before they can post bookmarks, you're
essentially building a large list of people. If your social bookmark site
script is clever enough, you can use the categories that these people
post in to segment the list and then market appropriate products to
    them.

If it's not that clever, you could add a section that invites them to opt
in to several newsletters or ezines during the sign up phase, and then
send them plenty of quality content with a few product pitches thrown
    in.

Lastly, if you're getting a high sign up and opt in rate using the above
mentioned idea, you could consider becoming a co-reg provider, and
selling space in the opt-in section to other list owners.
