Would it be possible to maybe get some Iranian company to advertise on my sites or something? This last week I had 25,000 visits from Iran alone, and AdBrite and AdSense aren't paying that great for this traffic. I'm thinking of maybe redirecting them to their own proxy with more appropriate ads maybe from a local advertising company or so, problem is I don't understand their language. Any input?
Ban them. Use so much CPU and resources, makes it slower for higher payed traffic such as UK and US, and have less money to spend on offers and sales.
Well you could put an IP-based bandwidth throttle to increase the speed for others first. Regarding advertising, you should try to find somebody living in Iran that's willing to help you (percentage maybe ^^), because indeed, getting a good CPM or CPC from Iran is difficult
