I am running a soccer and make some good cash from Adsense and private link sales. I always wanted to add more income stream to my website, but I have no idea to fully utilize it. I was thinking to add CPAlead but it might annoy my visitor.
Do whatever you're comfortable with... If you're looking for long term - make sure you keep your integrity and don't whore yourself out to anyone with a buck, otherwise if it's just short term, and meant to cash in for a few bucks, then whore away! =)
The best way to monetize your soccer site is to sign up for Amazon and sell soccer equipment on your site period. Unless you are going to sell your own product on there, you cant beat that or you can take off all the adsense and other advertising off there and apply for Ebay affiliate program,(It is call the Ebay partner network} but be careful with Ebay, you won't get a second chance with them.
