hey all, just wondering if i could get some help. i love gaming, i make games for fun, but thats all. i make some single player 3D FPS games, and have taken a dive into some online games aswell, but i want to make money from it. I want to make custom games for people, and even sell pre-made ones. I dont want to just sell them to everyone, i want to sell only one copy of each game to someone, brand it for their company and everything. this way they can use it for advertising or whatever they wish. Can anyone give me some tips as to how i can come about doing this? whats the best way to advertise/sell my products? is it worth diving into the world of ebay to sell these? Im not too sure how well this will work, since i dont want to make a custom game and only earn $30 from it, since every game i sell will be unique in its own way. thanks in advance for your tips, happy to give more info if you need in order to help me get this going.
if you are familiar with Iphone OS, then I suggest making games for Iphone. There is a lot of potential to make money there. Just make sure the price is affordable. Its better to price it lower and sell in volume .
I would say don't expect too much for the price. If you really can come out with high quality game plus design then only you can demand more. Anyway,you can try your luck contacting game maker such as eidos or lucas art to sell your game.
