I recently acquired the domain name thatfunnyblog.com and started on it's seo and social bookmarking. Since last week i'm up 1000-1500 views a day. i know its not much but since i'm new to this i was wondering if anyone could help me monetize it the best way. I have tried adsense and I hardly got one click a day ! clickbank gets around 6-12 clicks but no sales... i recently signed up for cj but im not sure if that's going to work either. I'm also looking for a better theme for the the blog, but haven't found anything interesting... so im asking if you have extra time please take a look at my new blog and help me improve it.. Firstly, well done for stripping out the Adsense, it's worse than worthless. Ok I've had a look at your site and your problem is that your traffic is completely untargeted and you don't know anything about them so you can't adequately sell to them. It's not your fault, it's your niche. I would start by placing an opt-in form to capture leads, once you have that you can sell to them again and again. What I would do to monetize it is sign up with Cafepress and create some funny slogans on t-shirts to sell to your visitors because you only know two things about them, that they like surfing the web, and that they like funny posts.
Why don't you try another PPC Adnetwork like Adbrite. Actually It's a best alternative PPC network to the Adsense. However, I'd suggest you to find the relevant keywords of your website, to check the keywords please check "Google Adwords Keyword Tool". And then start link building (it will help you to achieve good page rank). link building is nothing but a hyperlink from another website to your website. If your site have good PR then you may receive more traffic from the search engine.
you can do keywords research and input keywords in your blog. also you can do blog commenting, google ads, these can get more traffic to your website. uoften can post forums commenting.

Although its a PR4 but i think getting 300 visits from search engines is nothing. that's probably because its new and needs material... (remember I got this domain less than a month ago). I also found zazzle.com , just like Cafepress (thank you List-Building-Coach) you can design your own custom T-shirts, mugs, etc. They will pay sometimes even upto 50% commissions. so thats not bad...

Try to put some call to action in the landing page to increase higher chance for them to interact with you and share your thing . Maybe u can earn money more with create a email list and update them everyday and keep them back to your site to increase your page view.
