how to monetize image gallery

    Hello,

    I would like to ask your help with monetizing image gallery,
    I used adsense for few months, for the last month I tries some affiliates and now back to adsense.

    Nice site. Are those your photos? Have you considered joining IStockPhoto or similar service and tried to sell photos over them? According to the Alexa ranking, you have still a lot of work on promoting your site.

    saledren thanks, Im the tech guy, the photos are my wife's sister's.
    she considered istockphoto but never heard of someone who really make a profit out of it.

    Istock is really difficult to get into (as a vector artist anyway). I keep trying to get my uploading applicaton approved but they reject it every time. I would be really offended if I hadn't of had thousands of downloads on other sites lol :)

    If you want to try and make the most money from adsense I suggest making the ads look more like part of your site. You should change the background color to make it look a little more blended in. I have tried this on my own sites, people are more likely to click if it looks less like an ad

    Well, :) actually, I know one guy who made a profit. I work in a marketing agency, and I had a colleague who recently quit his job here because he made significant income from IStockPhoto! He's my hero. To be honest, he doesn't deal with photos, but with 3d modelling.

    Yes, its possible to do it from istockphoto.
    PS: is he the one that created the 3d man images?... (like this one: http://www.istockphoto.com/stock-photo-4374675-happy-homework.php)

    For an image gallery, i will try to make the ads look like your site:
    Change colors like this:
    bg color: #282828
    Title color: #ffffff
    Text: #cccccc

    I will work better.

    If not, just consider on working with some CPM

    great photos, love the header.... why not offer visitors the option to d/l and use something like megauplaod or another service that pays per d/l? u might not make too much, but its better than nothing at all. just make sure the users agree to some TOS stating they dont own the photo, cant reproduce the photo, yadda yadda yadda... best of luck to u
