Firstly, put your focus on increasing traffic. If you start thinking about monetizing now itself, you may soon get bored with blogging. Try to get more than 5000 pageviews per day, you can monetize it in the way you like. All the programs you use would be successful. But if you want to try it now itself,

Type of monetization depends on the Average PageViews, the time your users are spending on your blog and your niche to a major extent.

If you are talking about the blog in your sig and if you are getting Average Time more than 2 mins. Then, I can say affiliate programs may help too. And if average time is less than 1 minute, go for direct advertising, but you need to place the banners in nice locations and sell cheap. You can make more than adsense definitely. Check the advertising forum here in DP to know more about the pricing with respect to traffic.

One more thing you can look at is 'Link Sales' forum as you have something called pr as 1. But you should think about it.

Install Google Analytics on your website and take a look at where your traffic is comming from and try to improve your site so you can increase the number of visitors from that source. If you are using blogger monetising is very simple with just 1 click of a button in the Monetize tab.

Adsense, Ebay EPN, Amazon AWS, etc..

But when creating an organic blog, get the readership there first. I know it's hard not to slap your ads there but readership is key. Cause with readership comes referrals, and then comes traffic.

Once you start seeing RETURNING VISITORS with ADDED NEW VISITORS each day then you can think about monetizing with ads. I would use Adlinks in google and blend them into the theme.

Personally I think adsense is the worse way to monetize a blog, especially by itself. You can't depend on one type , you have to diversify, but first and foremost, you have to build traffic and readership...people aren't searching around the internet just to find somewhere to click ads, they are looking for information. Good info, not bland stuff that can be found anywhere.

You can't make any money with 200 visitors a day, you need to be in the thousands, so your first mission is to build a great blog, and increase traffic.
There is not much you can do with the traffic that you have. At least not enough to make a living.

Although I agree with part of your statement that you need to create a great blog first, the part about adsense is incorrect. That is the BEST way to monetize the blog. Now I'm not talking about regular ad units.. People are ad-blind nowadays and just look past these boxes or banners.

What you need is Adlinks and put in your theme to look like menu options. This is perfectly fine with their TOS as long as you don't DRAW ATTENTION to them.

They outperform just about any other type of advertising IMO.

I have heard from others that the ad links convert better than ad blocks, so I may have been a little to harsh on adsense, but I do believe that you need to have more than one type of monetization on your blog.

Adsense is to unpredictable, TOS changes with the wind, and there is no REAL control over which ads are displayed.
All programs change frequently, that's just the nature of the business, which is why you shouldn't be totally dependent on just one.

But none of that matters without traffic. Adsnese definitely requires more steady traffic to make money consistently, and you can't do anything with only 200 visitors a day.

That I do agree on..:) You need to diversify.. BUT I have adlinks on 100% of my blogging empire.. I guess it depends on the blog on what other ads you can place...

You do need to diversify.. and make sure you have plan "b's" in place.

I will say this, Adsense does not work on every kind of blog, or in every niche. Usually people that are successful with Adsense create blogs from the ground up with Adsense in mind.
I have a few music sites and Adsense is the worst money maker..so much so that I don't even waste my time with it anymore on them.

Personally I prefer affiliate links, banners and tools...better conversions (if targeted correctly) with less traffic, and if done right they can add to the blogs design and layout.

You also get the possibility of starting full e commerce stores and sister sites if you see that you affiliate sales are taking off. You can't do any of that with adsense. It's pretty much one dimensional and they really haven't done much to keep up with the dynamic nature of the web...just changing colors with a few size selections, and no other customization options, or interactive features is getting pretty boring...which is why so may people are oblivious to them now.

Firefox should approve it as official logo .. they will earn fame quickly lols
    Joking..
I agree to your point, in addition to that affiliate sales require better Time per user spent and of course good readership.

Simple answer... Adsense. Hide your ads in your content and blend the colors to match your site. I wouldn't recommend Amazon or an affiliate program unless your site targets/discusses a particular item or items.
