    Hello

I recently started with a blogger template download site.

I get decent traffic (40,000+ page views per month) considering its a new site

Advise me something other than adsense .. which can be used to monetize such type of sites...

If you have a unique idea we can split the revenue... I am looking for onsite revenue generation.

    Thanks

The ideas below aren't "unique", but you may find it worthwhile to explore these options. If you do need help, feel free to PM me.

    1) Pay per view ads (typically banner ads): Yes, these are the oldest ad model, and rates aren't too good; you might get $1 -2 per thousand views generally, may get more if you get lucky.

But then, even at $1 per thousand, you could get upto $40 per month, based on your current traffic

    2) Clickbank / affiliate ads : Anyone looking for blogger templates is interested in blogging; see if you can identify a few opportunities related to blogging that you can pull people into.

    Two approaches here
    - One, where you get paid when people buy ebooks and the like from clickbank.
    - Second, where you get paid for referrals / signups at sites like textlinkads, payperpost and so on.

The advantage with the second is that since people don't have to pay, you could get a higher conversion rate; however, the commissions are higher on the first type. Try both, and experiment with the mix to see which works best.

    3) Interstitial ads (Adbrite style) - when someone wants to download, he first sees an ad page, then gets taken to the download.

    4) Or CPA ads (Cost per action); anyone who wants to download has to complete a survey or signup, in order to get access.

    5) Text link ads / exit traffic ads - while your site doesn't appear to have pagerank, there are people who would like to get some of your traffic redirected to them...

    6) Premium downloads : visitors pay a small amount to access all downloads, instead of a selection.

Even if you charge a one-time $1 for "membership" and give away 35 cents to paypal for their fees, look at it this way.

$1 is practically nothing, for most people online. If even 1 percent of your visitors sign up, you could make a few hundred dollars.

The above are for starters; as you get revenue and are able to build up a following, you could add many other possible streams.

    Best wishes.

    Hello

I really liked a few ideas especially Pay Per View ads
I believe if a ad is sitting down the footer and paying me $40/ mo its not bad.

I have another site which has more than 120,000+ page views per month.. I will try placing some of these ads there also.

I dont think that people will pay $1 to register and download the themes. This is because there are so many sites which offer free templates.. and which would they pay $1 to us.

Do you do affiliate marketing and can you help me what types of offers can help me monetize using CPA ads?

    Thanks

you can buy resell rights to wordpress sales page themes/wordpress themes and replace the free wp themes banners with a banner to that offer.

you could make a bunch of sales for sure.

there is also a site called classipress and you can buy a developers license and sell that theme since it is a premium theme.

    just an idea.
