So lets say I have an idea for a site, done right it could be a highly traffic'ed site but there is no way to monetize the actual site content. So what are the alternatives ? How do sites like youtube make money with server/storage/bandwidth costs that must be HUGE ? Is the only alternative the Adsense, Adbrite etc options ?
You can post refferal links, or to sell hard links. Or you can sell traffic to someone who will buy it.

If you're like me, maybe you will hear the buzz about membership sites and residual paying programs - it makes sense as you "sell" once and collect money as long as they stay a member - I will like that
