How to monetize a fashion blog?

My girlfriend is interested in creating a fashion blog about a specific type of fashion. Her goal is highlight the best makers of specific accessories and clothing, and hopefully get decent traffic.

My question is, how can I help her monetize that? Would adsense be sufficient, or is there something else that would be better?

Something important to remember when answering this question is that I don't want her site cluttered with codes and ugly ads. If you know of anything that would still earn cash, and what she should do, let me know!

    Thanks ahead!

Try some clothes/accessory stores that offer affiliate programs, most of them let you edit ad/feed to match her site.

From adsense you might make a few dollars a click, from a store you can make $20+ per sale.

Ah, but the site doesn't exist yet. Its just being prepared for creation and development. I want a plan before she starts, since I'm helping her out with everything.

I would build up the traffic first with zero or very minimal ads or you won't get loyal followers.
