Hi Friends, Me and a group of friends have been building up a Facebook fan-page related to a popular videogame console for more than 10 months now, and finally it has reached one million facebook likes, with a majority of them being active. Now, we would like some guidance as to how we can monetize it since we've all worked so hard building it from scratch. Ideally we would prefer methods which wouldn't be too intrusive for our visitors but we're open to all kind of suggestions. Please assist us as we try and earn some money by using the popularity of our Facebook page. Currently it has more 1 million and seventy thousand Facebook likes. Looking forward to some helpful suggestions.
wow, thats great that you've got niche page with 1 million fans, you can make blog for game reviews and gaming hardware, and use affiliate systems. and sell games / gaming hardware using your fan page. but never post direct affiliate links to fanpage, it can kill you fanpage., now days people know what is what.
Thanks for the prompt reply, and yes we're very much aware that posting affiliate links won't be a good idea. We're already making a website which will revolve around the fan page and it should be ready by next week. As for selling games via the page, can you elaborate more on how to do that. All other suggestions are welcome as well.
A great way to make money using your Facebook page is to create a Facebook store. There is a free service called www.StoreYa.com that imports your online store's inventory to your Facebook page. After creating your Facebook store you can drive traffic to specific product pages inside your Facebook store.Good Luck!
Post or pm me your FB link so I get a better view of how to get it monetize. Do not use affiliate links in any of your posts or comments, this will definitely chase people away.
Please send me your FB link. I'd like to take a look at it before giving out suggestions. I also agree with the suggestion given above, do not post affiliate links directly they drive people away. People are too clever to be trapped on that traditional technique.
