I am currently designing my own eBay shop template. I have made a custom header and custom left navigation bar. I have come to a standstill to how edit and design item boxes (the products you sell around box and whole list of boxes) Here's an example: The default style is: and here is a designed one I can do it if i will do custom page on ebay but then if my visitors clicks on categories it will go to that category where custom page does not apply. The only solution to do it is through promotion box, but promotion box does not display ebay special html tags which leaves me at square one. Is there anyone in eBay business who knows how to do this? Any information is good, because I've been trying to crack this for half of the day and still haven't figured out anything.
Hi, I would recommend you to create a custom CSS and include it in the header (CSS file must be hosted on your webserver). Then with CSS you can target the HTML holder's you want to change and apply custom styling to any part of your store! With this technique you won't need to create custom BOXes to get the basic functionality that eBay provides. With this CSS you can give a full makeover to your store. You can see on our website what you can achieve using this technique! Be careful and DO NOT affect any important part's of eBay (header, logo, footer with time) it can get you in trouble according to eBay policies. Hope it helps.
