How to migrate from Joomla 1.0 to 1.5

    Hello all,

My web portal is created in Joomla 1.0. Since now there are far more extensions and modules for Joomla 1.5 I am thinking of moving my portal to it. However, can you tell me how safe it is and how much effort does it take? Is there any option that does this 'semi-automatic'?

    Thanks...

It is safe as long as you go by the book. It is done in two stages. If you want to do it yourself, here is the LINK.

It is always safer to use the latest version of software as the latest version often has bug fixes. Using outdated software can leave you and your users at risk. You can ask a professional to upgrade for you if you are unsure.
