How to merge Google+ and Google Local Business Listing ?

    I had created a google+ page and was using for promotion. Later I created local business listing. While creating local business listing another google+ page created with the same name. Now my listing is verified by google. In left section of Local business page when i click on Google+ It redirect on newly created google+ page. I want to use my old google+ page which i have been using. What i mean is i want to merge my old google+ page to local business listing. How it can be done?

    I don't think it can be done. A thread with a similar question was posted earlier, and I think the consensus was that it's unlikely you'll be able to do it.
    However, correct me if I'm wrong and you find a way.
