Hi. I'm new to the affiliate game. I read that it helps to have a strong sell page leading visitors to your affiliate link. But would it be more effective to lead people to the actual affiliate link? For example if you pay for something like Adwords, and made the link your affiliate link, instead of your site link. Would that be more productive? What are some other ways to get the most out of your affiliate?
Do a search on this forum for shoemoney. At one point he had a great writeup about clicks versus conversions. Your goal as an affiliate marketer is to deliver qualified leads - not clicks. Therefore anything you can do before handing your visitor off to the affiliate that will increase the liklihood of a conversion is time well spent - for both of you.
I think an affiliate link is the best. That way the possible buyer can see exacly what the seller is offering.
Yea. Looks like they were trying to reverse engineer Shoemoney's method. Right now I'm working on a SELL page for my affiliate. http://www.handjobcafe.com/TheFleshlight.php It's a work in progress and I'm open to any ideas to make it better.
This depends, if you're using AdWords, you may lead directly to affiliate page especially a co-branded page. You can lead to your page if it is a good page. The way to do it is to test. Send 1000 visitors one way and the other way and see what makes you more $$$.
For start I sugest Blogs strategy and relevant articles. Then when you see what convert, invest in websites and then PPC But for PPC you need to be cautious
Test it. Your page: results? Their page: results? Simple as that. If you can't write a sales letter, learn how or use your affiliate's page.
Test the site conversions with free tools and promotions. After you get a general idea how the things work try cpc because most of the cpc campaigns turn out to take cash and a little return. search very careful keywords, find a niche market! Read articles, blogs and experiences of other people. learnm from other ppl mistakes! good luck
