Hi all I'm new to clickbank and hoping to have more success off of it than Adsense! I was wondering how you mask the links you have to provide, in order to make money. I don't want visitors to see that I'm trying to make money off of them
i think u were banned from adsense and u will be banned from clickbank also !! Do they mention in there TOS that you shouldnt mess with the code ? it's ok if ur visitors know that you are making money , more than 70% of websites are making money from there visitors , why u shouldnt ? It's normal
Actually, I wasnt banned from Adsense I would never do that! It says on Click Bank, that you can easily hide your referral link. I just wasnt sure how to do it HTML Wise. They explained it, but it seemed to complex for me.
sorry for missunderstanding ... will help u with a link to hide (shrink ur link) http://shrinkthislink.com/

I have a cool service for you to use Simply make a fast, custom or password protected safe url at my www.mmgurl.com url redirection service. Fast URL = Enter your long url into our fast url form and get a short url created by our service. Original URL: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060825/...aq_base_looted Mmg URL: http://mmgurl.com/1Dd Custom URL = Make custom url like mmgurl.com/yoursite so this way you can track for your different websites. Original URL: http://www.clickrnetwork.com Mmg URL: http://mmgurl.com/clickr (clickr was my selection) Safe URL = Are you programmer, designer or have any important documents that you want to share only to your clients? Make safe url here and set the password then give our url to your clients. They will first be asked to enter password and then will get access to the documents or page. Original URL: http://www.clickrfunny.com Mmg URL: http://mmgurl.com/protect (password is pr) Check click stats here: http://www.mmgurl.com/go/stats Sub-domains are coming soon
Well they mask your URL into something really random like : http://www.kanian.com/recommend/recommend.asp?x=fhbnbs&z=npd%2Ftsbdef%7Bjftobdjsfnb%2Fxxx00%3Bquui&y=bcjk Code (markup): (I just tested it) and I'm not sure if your users would like clicking something like that
If you are not promoting "make money" products I wouldn't worry about it because Gertrude Smith wanting to buy the kitty ebook is not going to know she is buying thru an affiliate link. And if you are promoting "make money" products...it may help a tiny bit...but most people familiar with clickbank are going to know it is a clickbank product when they get the payment page. I don't promote a lot of "make money" products, but when I do, I offer a bonus...and I just come out and say "If you buy thru my link then you get xxxx as a bonus"...I have had TONS of affiliates tell me they bought thru my link to get the bonus... This has worked out well for me. Travis
Unless you have a ton of different affiliate links on the site, why not use a 301 redirect and then you can name the link anything you want? http://www.yoursite.com/ringtone-deals.html (page that doesn't exist) will automatically redirect to: http://www.affiliatelink.com/id420637&cn when clicked and viewing the source code doesn't show anything other than /ringtone-deals.html so it's impossible for anyone to know it is an affiliate link unless they click it. If you change affiliates or the id code changes, you just edit your htaccess file and never have to touch your pages code.
I use Clickjacker plugin I bought from WarriorForum. It has some cool features. I also use redirection plugin which is also fine but it works as 301 redirects.
