Run a contest for a free harry potter book give away. Should bring in lots of traffic. ;-] good luck.

Maybe a fan fiction competition with a cash prize ? ff.net and hpff have authors who have produced some excellent versions of what they think could be the seventh book. The cash prize must be sizable enough -not many people might participate if it is a 10 buck competition.

I also saw that you are giving away HPDH, but you also need to clarify on shipping and costs. If the winner is in some distant corner of the world, your overall costs might be larger than expected.

Harry Potter is an extremely competitive field for a site to rank for. There will always be attention given to the books, although interest will go down after the books are released. When the movies release, interest will again peak up a bit.

What kind of search engine traffic are you getting at this moment? You need to work on your keywords fast, because you will need to be on page one when the book releases. Time is at a premium.

You do need more forums, 5 looks too small to capture anybody's interest. Look at the other forums around, and get a general idea as to what they do to ensure that the visitors keep coming back. You need not copy them, but you will have a fair idea of what to do.

 

Traffic seems to have pick up now.
