First of all get rid off the intro ... it has no function and nobody wants an additional step. You rather lose users than impress!

What is marketing? Are you marketing a site? I'd doubt that. I market products and services to people with the income to buy them.

Figure out what you are doing and who would want what you are doing. Then you'll have an idea of at least where to start looking for that targeted customer pool.

I personally think the site is "too" wide, and that it can be more centered. Advertising these sorts of forums shouldn't be that hard because there are LOTS of relevant information on the internet related to your topic/niche.

You have to figure out why people would go to your forum as opposed to any other. At the moment you have a lot of topics with very few members. Why not just have 2 or 3 forums and get them to grow first. Once they become active then you will know what the purpose of your site is. Then... you can figure out how to market.

Well you basically have it set-up as a general forum i.e. various categories. If you haven't done so already, it would be a good idea to provide your users with a referral link and give them some sort of points or rewards for inviting new participants. This one act could increase you forum a great deal and even make it go Viral! And although a long Intro isn't really necessary as I see that you have eliminated -- A statement or two that really explains your forum, and sets it apart from all the rest on the web, is something that I feel wouldn't be a bad idea. There's just so many 'me too' forums on the web - and you really have to be unique to stand out ...especially with a New forum.

forum has contrasting discussions. I thought it is about green earth or something with environment. But you have wide topics there which are contrast to the theme say video games. I believe confining it to environment and pollution may help for better optimization.

Yeah, I hate to burst anyone's bubble. However, your site has way to much going on. It's like a static forum site. My opinion is that you want to lead your visitor to something. Not make it a choose your own adventure scenario.

You better change to another domain, the domain is not interesting. I thought it is a website about Global Warming. You could use Web 2.0 to promote your website.

Do you have a website to go along with your forum? It took me a while to understand what the forum was even about. It's too broad.

I would either make a little website to go along with it (promoting the environment) or narrow the forum niche.

He means that your niche is very general. As I saw your forum, it seems to be confusing what kind of audience you are attracting.

I strongly suggest that you narrow the topics say politics only. Besides, it's very hard to manage visitors who likes to talk about everything.

narrow it down, preferably to your interests. Post some youtube videos and talk about things you like.
