I am not intimately associated with it. I don´t know ALL the ins and outs.

Its like maybe I climbed a few times at a rock gym, but I am not a master of the ropes. I can´t tell you what its like at 22,000 feet when your fingers are icicles and your down to your last rope...bla bla bla.

So, I know basically what the product does, but I am not so intimately associated with it that I could talk SHOP about it.

I suggest you read the book "Hypnotic Writing - How to Seduce and Persuade Customers with Only Your Words" by Joe Vitale

I've got a baby clothes blog. I'm a young male with no baby, but the more I delve into the niche, the more I'm enjoying it. If you enjoy internet marketing, it makes falling in love with niches easier.

I do thorough keyword research, then outsource content to cyberhubonline.com (run by a DP member and real cheap).

Also, make sure you build a good blog/site that you enjoy working on. Makes it more fun.

I agree - to be a successful affiliate marketer you need to have a lot of knowledge about the products you sell. The only value you have to potential buyers is that you can give them some additional information that they won’t find on the site selling the product.
