Hey, I have a webmaster site and today I added a scripts directory similar to that of hotscripts on it. That's all good but it's really lacking listings so I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on how I could get it going. Thanks, Hodge
Congratulations - it looks excellent - very well organized - search engine friendly too. If I had a script to submit, I'd look for directories that were well populated and had traffic of course. You could start off by adding your new directory to your forum sigs. You could also submit your directory to some of the directory-of-directories sites (for free). Visit some of the current script directories too and send invites to the developers listed in them. At the same time, I would also make sure my site is complete and finished before I attempted to promote in earnest. Best of luck to you - looks like you're off to a great start.
Thanks but I don't really deserve any credit for the directory - I bought it!!! That said I have worked on making the directory SE friendly as you said. Thanks for all the advise - I'll work on it right away Well after I get some sleep that is - it's 6am here
