How to market my vids?

I've got a knack for making popular youtube videos, but I'm not sure how I can convert my success into some sort of cash or greater popularity. I was thinking of creating a website, but I'm inexperienced in web design and I'm not sure exactly what format I would make it.

Can anyone here on DP offer me some advice? I've got fairly decent budget for this, as I figure with a few million youtube hits I can somehow make a return on my investment.

Wow, this one is so easy, I'm surprised you aren't doing the following right now.

    Or are you?

    - Put up a how-to video on, how to put up videos.

    - Write quick tips on this and submit them to sites that its readers may like. They go to your site, and there waiting is a $10 e-book.

And you don't need a fancy site, either.

Just make sure you have a short "send to a friend" form right there on the page. Do not have them click on a link to go there.

    - Advertise! Advertise, and, advertise some more!

Once you have enough money, put ads in video sites, like youtube. But get them critiqued first! Ask others if they would click on them. If the answer is "no," obviously start over.

Since so many want to do this but they don't know how, you have a good market for this.

Well right now all I have is youtube videos. Im kinda hesitant to create an e-book because my video content is unique and at the moment I completely control the market.

PS: I seem to need a good site of sorts. anyone wanna make me one? :p

I think I'm leaning towards a website but how would a fan page look/be structured?

Your first step would probably be to make a blog, make one with Google and learn the ropes there first.

    http://www.blogger.com/home

This is a free host for you and needs little knowledge to run blog.

mmmm OK, it seems that you are serious then, but I am not sure of your knowledge in websites and managing them, you need hosting, a URL, then a script or template to work with, if I had more knowledge of what you wanted I could possibly help you out.

It's still hard to know your skill levels and what you want, have a look around the net and see what sites strike your interest and there's most likely a way to make a clone of it .... when you find a site you would like to clone let me know and I will tell you what you need.
