Hi, I started my new website, NeedFreelance.com about a month ago, in the beginning I got good traffic, but I get only 60-100 pageviews a day now. I've started thinking about how to market my site. Anyone got ideas? You can see the site at http://needfreelance.com
The design and logo are both good. There are many ways you could choose to market your site however I would choose SEO. Have you done any link building yet?
What do you mean with link building? I'm new in SEO, so don't know everything. I have added my site to 10-20 link indexes.

link building will simply allow you to rank better in the SE's. Make sure you have some targeted keywords that aren't too competitive by using META tags, title tags and h1, h2 etc. Also publishing unique articles can help to target specific key phrases more easily.

vijayan: Thanks for your response... I will soon buy a new server, and then I can use the features you pointed out. There will be a file upload system, for upload and attach files to the projects to help the freelancer to find out of more about the project. All users will get 25mb of free space, and they can upgrade to 1gb or more for a little price. But you need to do Some more steps for Quality and Much better Traffics for your site needfreelance.com i am using these Below techniques for website traffic solutions :- 1. First Use Fresh and Quality content 2. Do Submissions in Social Book marking 3. submit your site in some quality classified sites. 4. get the Forum lists of related category and start the forum posting 5. link building with related category 6. Try to advertise the site on places where people are looking for jobs/wanting jobs done. Perhaps put a few links in the B/S/T section of DP.
Nice site Elias, If article writing comes naturally to you then i suggest you commence writing. Then submitting your finished articles using a article submitter. Search for an article submitter using google there is plenty out there. You can also use classifieds ads, i have been getting good targeted traffic from using classified ads. Then as mentioned you can blog, squidoo, you tube, my space the web has no limit. Jason
Sign up to more webmaster forums and offer you service. You should also do more linkbuilding. You can do submission to some of the good web directories, its usually also worth the effort and should get you better ranking in SE's
Make it easy for people to contact you from your site by adding a Contact Us form, not just listing your email address.

I do not list my email address at all (to prevent spam). BTW does anyone know any good freeware article submission tools?
