    Hi,

    So i made a forum.

    How do I populate it?

Also do you know any program that can take stuff from other forums and post automatically to my new forum?

    Thanks

If you're making 20k a month off your e-commerce business then you'd know something as simple as hiring posters to make quality posts. Just sayin'.

    hi there,

seriously if you don't have an answer please stop posting.

Secondly i am making 30+ forums, and i want a quick way to populate them without having to make a fake community, but to get a program to create thousands of usernames to post questions only so i can get google to pick up my forum fast.

Thirdly 20k is not a lot to be considered "rich" considering all my expenses i have to be spending elsewhere.

You don't want to make a fake community, but you want a program to create thousands of usernames that can generate content...riiiiight.

Anyway, I'll stop being smug and give some real advice. If you're looking to get your forums indexed quicker by Google along with its content, take a look at getting the iMacros plug-in for Firefox. It's a program that can do repeat tasks in a browser an infinite amount of times. While Vbulletin forums have a captcha protection feature, if you're the administrator you'll be able to turn that security measure off. With that you can easily generate new usernames much quickly than if you were to do it manually.

Also look into installing vbSEO onto your forums so that it becomes more SEO friendly and Googlebots can index your site much more quickly. vbSEO also helps out with making your threads & posts achieve higher rankings on Google search terms. The forum in my sig uses vbSEO and ever since, over 40% of my incoming traffic comes from organic searches. vbSEO rocks.

You're going to make 30 forums? Well may I suggest focusing on one and making it successful. You'll have more of an idea of how to make the other 29 work too after that.

And if you consider $240,000/year not to be a lot after your expenses, then I find it hard to believe you're making that kind of profit.

As for the forum. If you want a bot to generate topics etc then you're just going to have to pay for posts. But 30 forums made with bot posting will have very crappy content that won't rank well in SERPs + you will find yourself with a load of marketing on your hands.

I need to start visiting the marketing section more. This is the best plug-in ever! A bit like AutoMate 6 and Quickeys.

$240,000 is not the exact pinpoint firstly

Secondly no that is not enough as I am constantly purchasing new investments and I also play on the stocks rising up and down.

I invest huge amounts for new money making opportunities, and I am trying to keep my house and keep myself alive.

Therefore no, I run out of cash sometimes

And I find that forums is something i should try to build as a community not some people getting paid to post.

another guy like you has posted on getafreelancer.com for the software that automatically copy other forums content and post on his..

and 15-20 indian russian programmers already replied they can easily do it..

it will cost him about $250

if you really earn $240 000

then spend $250 and go to any freelance site and post a job offer to create that software

so far only plugins for forum available to copy post from yahoo answer and populate your forum

you can get easily from black hat type or warez type forums..

I'm also wondering about the same thing.

I have a blog and want to start a forum. now i'm facing a chicken and egg problem - people won't post without content and I won't get content without people posting.

do i have to fake it until i make it?

Heh, I'm running a blog that has a new forum on it. Unless you can get yourself a core group of posters (friends/contacts that can help post about your niche) to start things up, you'll need to either hire some good paid posters or do the posting yourself under multiple names.

I hired paid posters on my forum today for the first time ever and I'm really happy with the results. It spiked up traffic along with receiving new signups that didn't come from the paid posters, and it gives something new for the Googlebots to index for SERPS.

If you use vbulletin, create a fake user, and let this fake user post rss feed messages as new threads. Control Panel > RSS Feeds Manager.

Works perfect, a lot of free content to your board :D
