There are a lot of factors to consider - who is your targeted audience, are there age, sex, religious, regional, or racial factors, what is your targeted audience looking for, why would someone from your targeted audience visit your site,,,,, the list goes on and one. Before you can market ANYTHING, first you need to know "who" you are trying to market it to. That is why I listed all of those points. Lets say that you have a site on hunting. Well, your not going to try to market that site to a bunch of animal rights people. Its very important to understand your audience, there wants and needs. Next step, where is your audience at on the internet? Are they in blogs, forums, social networking sites,,,, or something else. And then finally, how do you reach that audience. Once you answer those questions, you will have some kind of idea on how to reach your audience.
