How to market and promote a Sports news website?

I run a sports news website, that has daily updated news by me. Where can I promote it and market it?

Any ideas?

 

How are you monetizing the website?

Affiliate Offers? Adsense?

 

Comment other sport blogs, and join other related forums and put a link in your Signature.

 

By video, digg and blog commenting, articles & press releases.

Unless you want to pay, then buy blog posts on related sites.

 

Update the site often with fresh news...and post the articles,news to social bookmarking sites. It will drive some traffic to your site.
